PHP2Shell: security vulnerability patched

PHP2Shell is the name for two critical vulnerabilities in PHP, CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619, published on 21 October 2026. They could let someone run code on a vulnerable server without logging in.

We found no signs that the vulnerabilities were exploited on our server.

Protected from 21 October 2026, 16:32 CEST, by extra measures in front of our server. The patched PHP has been running since 20:27 CEST the same day.
Where we use PHP
Only the web server for this website. It runs the patched version.
No PHP
The QuadChroma apps and the licence service. Updates are signed files.
What you need to do
Nothing. The apps and the licence service never had this vulnerability.

Fixed in PHP 8.5.12, 8.4.27, 8.3.36 and 8.2.35.
