Refunds and withdrawal

This page explains how to get your money back, how to withdraw from a purchase and how to cancel a subscription. Before buying you can also try sharing in the app for free for 7 days.

Money-back guarantee

In addition to your statutory rights, we give you a voluntary money-back guarantee on these terms:

  • Guarantor: Robert Brandt, trading as QuadChroma, Schenkenberger Str. 3a, 04509 Delitzsch, Germany, hello@quadchroma.tech.
  • What you get: the full purchase price you paid, no reason needed. If you bought at an introductory price, it is that price.
  • Period: 14 days from the purchase, even if you have already downloaded and used QuadChroma. For a subscription the guarantee covers the first payment, i.e. 14 days from taking it out; later renewals are not covered.
  • Scope: worldwide, for every purchase of a QuadChroma licence and every subscription through quadchroma.tech. The guarantee is free of charge.
  • How to claim: with the “Withdraw from contract here” button, by e-mail to hello@quadchroma.tech or at Paddle on paddle.net; after a one-time purchase also with the “Cancel contracts here” button. The refund is made through our reseller Paddle within 14 days of receiving your request. The licence is then deactivated; a subscription ends with it.

Your statutory rights, including your rights in case of defects, remain unaffected and are not limited by the guarantee.

How to get your money back

  1. “Withdraw from contract here” button: you’ll find it at the bottom of the pages of this website and in your customer account. It leads to quadchroma.tech/withdraw. Enter whatever you have to hand there and click “Confirm withdrawal”. The confirmation of receipt goes straight to the e-mail address you enter. Your refund starts right away if you enter your licence key, licence number or subscription number and give the e-mail address of your purchase as the address for the confirmation. If you enter the key with a different e-mail address or none, it starts after three days; the address of your purchase gets a message first and can object. Otherwise it starts with one click in the message to the address of your purchase. Your withdrawal counts without the click too: we then refund you automatically after ten days, only to the payment method you used for the purchase.
  2. By e-mail: to hello@quadchroma.tech, ideally with your licence number (lz_…) from the e-mail with your licence key.
  3. Through Paddle: use the help link in the receipt, or choose “Request refund” on paddle.net. If Paddle turns it down, write to us. Our guarantee still applies.

Paddle refunds to the same payment method where possible.

Statutory right of withdrawal

The seller is Paddle.com as Merchant of Record. Consumers in the EU, the EEA, Switzerland and the United Kingdom have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal towards Paddle. The conditions, including when it ends early for digital content, are set out in Paddle’s buyer terms and refund policy.

Withdrawal function: the “Withdraw from contract here” button is in the footer of the pages of this website and in your customer account. It leads to quadchroma.tech/withdraw. You can also declare your withdrawal in Paddle’s customer portal, on paddle.net or by e-mail to hello@quadchroma.tech.

Every withdrawal we receive within 14 days of the purchase is refunded in full as a guarantee case, even if the statutory right of withdrawal should already have expired.

What happens to the licence

With a full refund the licence ends. Sharing ends on the activated devices with their next check: during the first 14 days after the purchase within one day with an internet connection, afterwards within 8 days, on a device without internet access no later than 30 days after its last contact. The client remains free to use. A partial refund does not end the licence.

For a subscription, the refund also ends the subscription; Paddle charges nothing further.

Cancelling contracts

You can cancel a subscription at any time without signing in, using the “Cancel contracts here” button at the bottom of the pages. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the paid period; until then you can keep using QuadChroma, and Paddle charges nothing after that. If you cancel for a specific date, the subscription ends at the end of the paid period that includes that date. We register the cancellation with Paddle; the e-mail address of your purchase gets a message about it and can undo the cancellation with “This wasn’t me” until shortly before the end of the paid period. The confirmation goes straight to the e-mail address you enter. Cancelling a subscription is not a refund; for a subscription the guarantee covers the first payment.

If you cancel with the same button within 14 days of a one-time purchase, this counts as withdrawal, even if you do not use that word: we refund the purchase price through our reseller Paddle within 14 days of receipt, and the licence is deactivated afterwards. A one-time purchase made longer ago is not an ongoing contract and is not cancelled.

After the period

After 14 days we generally no longer give refunds. Your statutory rights, for example in case of defects, remain unaffected. If something isn’t working, write to us. We’ll help.
